Not disappointing you, but the job scenario is still bleak here. But, if you are exceptionally skilled in any technical side of IT, you would not find it very hard. But if you are more on the managerial side (Project Manager roles for example), things remain tough. You will be up aganst an army of a...

If you have a valid case, a bit of patience can surely make it work at most times. I agree Garda could sound a bit menacing at times but running away, ...

It might be a good idea to list passport pages where the immigration stamps are - to make it easier for INIS to calculate your residency. I sent the application on the day of completing 5 years and was accepted!

Good luck...

Citizenzhip application: Birth and marriage affidavit

Hi,

I see that DOJ asks for Birth and Marriage affidavits during processing of citizenship application.
1. Does this happen in all cases?
2. If it happens selectively - what is the reason?
3. Is social welfare report asked in all cases?

Thanks

Chris

Form 8 query - Mother maiden surname in Birth Certificate?

In one of the posts, I saw it mentioned that your bith certificate should have your monther's maiden surname (if it was different / changed). Anyone had that queried by INIS?

Bit concerned as my birth certificate doen't have my mother's maiden surname!

Re: Help!! Question on Citizenship Application Section 4

Month & year is Enough. It'll not be rejected.
Thanks - That's a relief! Getting too paranoid about stories that inis rejects it for silly reasons.

Help!! Question on Citizenship Application Section 4

Section 4 in citizenship application is about previous addresses. In the From and To columns, do we need to provide the exact dates? I have provided only Month and Year in the application - and am wondering if that will be rejected. Would the previous applicants help here please?
