Re: Apply EEA(PR) for both EEA national and spouse

Hi Noajthan Thanks for your swift reply. Ok, got your reply. But still have these issues: 1) In section 5.3 (p.28), should we both include all leave/back history from first time arrived UK beyond 5 years from to-date time (5.3 ... since you/they entered?) 2) In section 9 about EEA activity in the UK...

Apply EEA(PR) for both EEA national and spouse

Hi I'd be happy if someone can help with my following: I'm EEA national who has been living/working in UK for more than 7 years, but never apply for PR. My wife is a non-EEA member who has been living with me since 2009 in UK. She has her 5-years RC expired last year. In early 2015, she has withdrew...

Hi I’d like to know if I can apply as an Irish citizen through naturalisation. Basically, I’m a Portuguese citizen who has been working and living in Northern Ireland more than five years. If the answer is yes, I’d be happy if you guide me how to do this. Your answer will be highly appreciated. Than...

Re: Uk entry with EEA ID

You mean, at a HK airline check-in counter, they must check a valid passport before issuing me a boarding card, even I can prove my EU citizen status with Portugal Citizen Card. If so, I will be challenged that I must have show a 6 months return ticket for I use Macau SAR passport to enter UK as a v...

Re: Uk entry with EEA ID

Ban.s

Thanks for help. Anyway, whenever I flight from HK to UK, at the check-in counter, simply submit my Portuguese ID for checking. Is it right doing so for me flight back to UK without showing my Macau passport?

Re: Uk entry with EEA ID

Macau passport holders are eligible for visa on arrival so I believe airlines will allow you to check-in https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa/y/macao/tourism however double check with the concerned airlines. No, if I have valid Portugal ID, can I leave HK airport with Macao SAR passport and enter UK wi...

Re: Uk entry with EEA ID

Thanks

But problem will be stuck around checking in at HK airport...

I hold a valid Macao SAR passport as well, and if I flight from HK airport to UK/Ireland, can airline counter allow me to check in with just the Macao SAR passport which doesn't carry any UK/EEA visa.

Thanks

He was in UK about 4 years and 10 months when his baby was born. I told him that there is no point sending the passport application, but he did anyway, with all his paperwork ( p60, payslips). And IPS issued the passport. He did told them exactly how long he was living in UK. So maybe worth trying ...

As your child was born before you have obtained PR status in the UK (which is after 5 years), your child will need to apply to be registered as British first (application for British citizenship). After this is approved (about 1 month), he can apply for a passport (up to 3 weeks). The form to apply...
