As I have posted before. You DO NOT have to declare it. It was just a fixed penalty. People who have been arrested and cautioned by the police and whose details are on the PNC DO NOT have to declare it when applying... NOW in your case it was just a fixed penalty + you didnt get arrested.. so RELAX...

That is wholly incorrect- you can switch to a dependant visa if your leave to remain at the time was amongst others a work permit visa.
