I came soon after the first visa was issued and I didn't have gaps so the time spent in country was sufficient to qualify for ILR.

I suggest calling by phone to confirm that your booking includes dependents.

If I remember correctly, the text arrived slightly after the email, but contained the same information. I wasn't asked for a text when I went to the appointment, so I don't think receiving one is critical.

Back to the earlier question, can anyone say for sure what documents meet this requirement? ILR Set (O) Section 9L, page 15:

“For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules.â€
