Visa start date: 08 Jan 2003 Entry into UK: 04 Feb 2003 so can I calculate 28 days from the visa start date or the date I entered the UK ? Hi, It will depend on the rules at the time, but based on current rules, yes! You can count 5 years from your visa stamping/entry clearance stamping date, IF you entered UK within90 days of visa stamping date. from feb 2011 and until june 2012, the total waiting time for 10 years visa applicants are approx just 12-14 weeks, but suddenly after july it gone to 20-22 weeks.

Hi Many thanks for your reply. As far as I remember, there is a question in ILR application form regarding claiming benefits. If I and my wife start claiming child benefit and in when in future I fill in ILR application for my wife, we need to tick the box in that ILR application form that we claim...

my ten years are completing in Dec 2013.
I think if iam not wrong your 10 years will finish in jan 2014 as you entered initially on 29th jan 2004 and you can apply from the date of 2nd jan 2014
