Except for maybe blaming yourself for not timing things right.

Punish yourself by giving up your favourite food for 3 weeks. That'll teach you to do things better in the future.

Hell, it may even be healthy for you.

Visa was granted from the date of application NOT expiry, when questioned, the CW confirmed this by saying :'some people believe that visa will be extended from the expiry date, which is wrong, it will be granted from the day of application. ' The CW was an idiot. I renewed my visa more than 28 day...

Current immigration status?

I have leave to remain and am applying for a T1 extension.

What does one fill in the "current immigration status" field in D11?

Payment section for PEO appointment - CVV

Do I need to give UKBA my CVV and card number written on a piece of paper even if I am applying in person with my debit card?

Not too secure!

Is a stamp really needed?

I do my own dividend voucher. It is just a print on A4. No sign. No stamp.

My account is providing a letter with dividends detailed.

Also, my previous employer is providing a letter with gross and net details. But it may be a colour print without stamp. Does that work out?

No NI number on payslips

My previous employer didn't put NI number on any of my payslips.

Any idea if that is or has been a problem?

Last month bank statement

I will be going to a Lloyds TSB branch to get a statement for the final month.

Is a black and white statement that fulfills other requirements fine?

I am guessing that the statement they give me at the branch will not be like the regular paper statements they send.

Online booking for PEO premium app

We only book an appointment on the UKBA site, right? And nothing else.

There seems to be something about submitting forms online as well. But it looks like that is not for Tier 1 extn.

Dude, stop worrying on this one. There is no doubt whatsoever. There are metric tonnes of people who are not employed all the time.

And it includes me - multiple months. Multiple gaps. And I am not worrying about this aspect.

1. Could be a problem in my opinion. There is a risk. Low, but definitely there. Let us know what happens!

Hi Jay,

Firstly, congrats!

Did you have trouble booking the PEO appointment? Did you get one 6 weeks later when booking? Did you have to try a lot to book the slot successfully?

How many days did you actually have to try and fail before the eventual success?

I ask because my leave is for another couple of months, the online app system is currently down and I am not sure if I should wait for a go at the PEO booking or send a postal app.
