My plan is to make a minimal application -

Letter from employer with payments made.
Degree certificate
Passport
Bank statements.

That's all I guess.

A 3.2 multiplier would mean that a person with bachelor's degree and under 30 years age would need around 8,50,000 in gross earnings.

I visited their branch and they issue me another statement, the format of which is pathetic (Print out getting out of page area, No A/c No. & name on each page of statement) and worst is they informed this is the best they can do. Kudos to ICICI Bank. ANyways I contacted customer care and reque...

Contract jobs for Java developers in the London area

I have no previous work-ex in UK. But I am a very good Java programmer and am highly skilled with algorithms, multi threading etc. Have around 4 years of work-ex. Have a pretty good background of Spring, Hibernate, JSF and other JavaEE tech as well. Most people from work know me as a super geek. No ...

Photocopies of originals needed?

I thought I saw this mentioned somewhere but I'm not sure: Are any photo copies of the originals - (Passport, letter from employer, degree certificate, stamped bank statements) needed to be submitted?

Dot Matrix for Personal Bank Statement and Maintenance fund

I am pretty nervous about the Dot Matrix print outs my banks gives as account statements. But I seem to have no other option. The print out will not have a logo on it but it will have a stamp on each page. I hope they don't expect dot matrix prints to have a logo other than that stamp. My understand...

Good luck!

Was it just those two 7 page forms that you filled?

No 75 page form like the applying from within UK applicants?

What was the background color for the photos you submitted?

April 6 - No new forms, No new points calculator

For a person applying from outside the UK for the initial tier 1 visa, the Visa services website does not have the new form.

Heck, even the points based calculator is not updated.

This is nuts! How am I to apply?

Tier 1 app - After April 6th - Visa fee 675 or 840?

For Tier 1 - Initial application from India, what will be the new fee after April 6?

I thought I saw someone mention 675 pounds. But the new form seems to indicate 840 pounds. Which is it?

Tier 1 app - After April 6th - Documents questions

I going to apply for Initial Leave to Remain - Tier 1 General. 1. Or is a letter from the college/NA...
