Ok. That sounds a good plan. Thanks mate. Do you have any idea how to get provisional license and how long does it take to get the license? Do I need to give driving test to get provisional license? If you don't have any of the photo IDs mentioned under the link provided, then you will probably have...

I do have Bank statements as well providing my address details. You need an acceptable form of photo id, along with proof of address. Do you perhaps hav...

Life in UK test identity proofs

Hi, Currently my application is with UKBA for Tier 2 extension. So ideally my passport and BRP(even the old one) is with UKBA. i was planning to give the life in UK test. I am not able to understand how this is impacting ILR? This should be impacting any new Tier 2 applications. This is because the Tier 2 applications which were made before 6th April 2013 does not need to produce a new COS until their next application. Requesting Gurus to help and advice. Anyone on t...

This is ridiculous, I am just losing my patience now .. can't wait anymore. It's two weeks now and still there is no news for BRP...

Re: How to get SOC code and letter for ILR - TCS employee

Yes GenX. All these companies never support ILR process. So you have to push your HR to provide that letter. By the way were you trying to provide letter only for leaves or absences? Hi All, I am an employee working for software company TCS. I will be eligible for IlR in June 2013. As per new rule w...

Re: delay of 2 weeks

we are observing delay of 2 weeks in UKBA process. On month of Feb people received their biometric invitation 2 week later than ideal time frame. I meant it took 4 weeks instead of 2 weeks. So same kind of delay can be seen on passport and BRP receiving time. Very good changes that you will receive...
