Thanks for the reply. But I did not received any initial application approval letter. I just collected the passport from the VFS application center.

I am applying for Tier-1 visa extension by post.
Can I make the payment by a VISA debit card issued in UK.
I am asking this because in the payment guidance notes on page 5 of the application form -it mentions visa under credit cards but not under the debit cards.

I got the tier 1(G) Visa issued 18 months back but could not travel to UK.

If I want to travel to UK now, Do I require any clearance from the consultate.
