I wonder how much longer we have to wait in total silence and blindness :( I really hope that one of us will get documents soon, preferably January applicants,.... must say I was much more optimistic during time w...

Procrastinator and Kiwigirl. just a note. How on earth being here longer than Us [ 10 year legal stay] means you guys know better than us????. it not a question of who knows better, it [ this thread] is all about sharing the unconfirmed news, rumours, etc. also, i just want to mention that we all [...

HELLO EVERYONE well, it is great to hear that November, December and even January applicants are now hearing back. Hopefully, as we have discussed here before, there aren't many applicants from period November - February, and caseworkers will get sooner to the March applicants :D NoWayOut - did you ...

oldno7 please do not say that a forum is a mess. most of people (including me) who came across your thread were attracted to it because of the name - extra documents request . I think you did not get a reply because most of us simply do not know the answer. I think your solicitor is the right person...

I blieve it is better to prepare for the long wait and then have a surprise when documents come early... rather then sit and wait every day for a postman. I prepared myself for at least 6 months wait. I am now thinking of booking a hoiliday in UK as I can't get out of the country without my passport...

kiwigirl25 I am sure I have seen the information stating that 10 years take 3-6 months and 14 years 2-5 years I might have been wrong saying that it was on the BIA website - but it was published on a reliable sites. I think on the website of immigration advisers... I am currently looking for the li...

JUST ADDED SOME NEW MEMBERS TO THE LIST. sorry Apagun I did not add your name as dont have a date of application, please provide a date. And Procrastinator , I am not sure if you should be on the list as you applied under 14 years rule - I dont think we can take your case for a 10 years timeline. On...

Sorry DA375 but I thought that applicants for ILR under the 10 years rule are not allowed to have dependents... so can you please shed some light on this aspect  or did I misunderstand something? Your answer would be highly appreciated as I have a dependent too who currently has a valid leave ...

In my case I prepared myself morally for the long wait and I am not waiting for my postman every day. I think my case is very much straitforward but if they say on BIA website that it takes up to 6 months and, in addition, the other members on this forum waited for at least 4 months, then what is th...

i think so too - it is best to wait till 6 months, as that is their target. if they won't meet it , then we can get in touch with them. In addition, if my aknowledgement letter STATES that I should not contact them before they get in touch with me - then why should I? I don't want to joke with the H...

I think there are probably very few people who would have applied for ILR in those months under 10 set O category because the majority of people probably would have came here as a student and thus got their first visa mostly august -september to coincide with the start of academic year or jan - feb...

Beige you are probably right but in my view between September and January we have October, November and December, they are the actual 3 months that I was refering to and where we don't have any applicants in our thread. Anyway, this is not really important - what matters is that we need some members...

If not, majority of us remaining in the bottom list may have to wait, pray and guess about the progres...

where did you hear that we can be enquiring about the progress of application after 3 months? In my acknowledgement letter none of the timeline is mentioned - instead they wrote that I should not disturb them before they will write back to me.

hello everyone! I am new here - so hope I will get a chance to communicate with some of you who are still waiting for their ILR. My application was sent on 09/03/2010, acknowledgement letter dated 10/03/2010, payment taken on the same date. Well, judging by your experience, I think I will have to wa...
