Recommendation for council with frequent private ceremony

I live in Basingstoke (RG21) , Hampshire. My friend who is naturalized recently here is frustrated to find that the next available ceremony date is 3 months from now  . I am applying for naturalization by end of next month (ie, May). I have personal reasons to grab British passport at the ear...

Re: ILR PEO deferred Apps - Further checks/Additional docs c

Thank you guys. All the best for all of you. Those who are waiting more than 2 months should approach via their MP. I think the delay is good news in one way. The chances of rejection is really slim after such a long delay. Yes. she asked whether it needs to be posted or am ready for collection. I op...

Re: ILR PEO deferred Apps - Further checks/Additional docs c

The most sensible thing for anybody who waited for more than 2 months is to write to your MP. I don't think it is possible for us to petition Home office. We can think about FOI (Freedom of Information) request seeking clarifications on the process and timelines for deffred application. It is unfair...

Re: ILR PEO deferred Apps - Further checks/Additional docs c

Called them today . The status is "Not Complete". It seems the case is in the freezer. It is only been a week now. Not sure when should I write a letter to the MP. With redundancies looming in the company ( Company is going through a business transformation) , Incase I am made redundant , ...

Re: ILR PEO deferred Apps - Further checks/Additional docs c

Thanks askhan & jollyjolly . The appointment was at 12 o clock. It is a Tier1 ILR . I haven't studied in UK & my degree certificate is from home country . But they would have already checked my degree in my entry clearance. I have submitted both IELTS certificate (expired one used for entry ...

Re: ILR PEO deferred Apps - Further checks/Additional docs c

I am also in the same boat. Premium appointment in croydon on May 7. After 2.5 hours of waiting , case worker handed me a letter stating further checks to be made.

I had only 50 days out of Uk days in total. I am permanently employed as well. So I was not expecting it.

Stayed with out tenancy agreement - implications?

I came here 2010 June 26. Since then, I have been staying in a property. Now the problem is that I don’t have a tenancy agreement. I am paying the owner rent on weekly basis. I came to know recently that this may affect me in the longer run. What are the implications of this in my future PR/citize...

Hi Gajanan, I am also in same predicament as you. I will be reaching UK on 27 June. Will be attending a training in Cambridge from 30 June - 2 July. Will have to stay in London or nearby and search for work after that. I don't have any direct/close friend in UK now. So getting an invitation letter f...

Adding PF payment (of 2005-2008) to previous earnings?

My friend's total salary earning is marginally short of meeting the minimum points required. But there is an amount of around 45K INR deposited into the bank account as PF payment by his previous employer. This payment is for the period of 2005-2008. This payment happened in the chosen 12 months.Thi...

Is this implemented ? If so , Is the point system / eligibility c...
