Spouse visa - 6 month requirement

Hi, I'm planning to marry my girlfriend in a couple months (we've given notification and have our marriage date). She is currently in the UK on a student visa and we'd like to change to a spouse visa without her needing to leave the country. Her student visa is around 18 months long, and ends in Feb...

Change of course dates

Hi, I'm having trouble finding any guidance regarding this, if anybody could help it would be highly appreciated. My girlfriend is here in the UK on a tier 4 visa for a course that starts in a couple weeks. When she applied it was for a foundation course + the diploma course. The visa has been grant...

Hi Wabuthu,

Thanks a lot for your insight, it's really appreciated. We managed to get an official signed and stamped letter from the school over the course of the day to confirm that they will make arrangements on her behalf, so this is going to make things less doubtful.

My friend's going to just head down to the embassy and ask about any health check requirements.

We're still not sure about accommodation though, anybody have any ideas?

Hi, I have a question about a friend who has already has received a visa, but never entered the UK yet. I can't find information about the requirements to enter the country? I know she needs all her documents that she used for her visa application. Does she need any health checks or proof of vaccina...

New student language requirement

Hi All, I'm doing research for my friend. We're confused by the language requirement of Level B2 CEFR. He doesn't have any IELTS or CEFR score, but the agents that are offering assistance with the application are just encouraging him to apply to schools that won't cause a problem if there is no IELT...

Joint bank account

Hi, Can a joint bank account be used to show evidence of funding? I have a joint UK account with my girlfriend, but she'll be applying for her visa from Burma so I don't think she will be able to get statement since the bank won't be in that country. Can I send statement by courier or something for ...

Thanks a lot for your insight. For peace of mind and a firm answer, it sounds like I might need to get some sort of advisor to confirm this? We're both very keen for her to not return to Burma, but it sounds as though we have few options.

Fiancee visa application help

Hi there, First I would like to thank the members of this board for providing excellent information, already answering the bulk of my questions regarding the application for this visa. Secondly, I should apologise for making my first post on the forum a plea for help. It's not good form, but good (f...
