Hi, To answer your questions 1) I made an individual appointment. I was with the same company for 5 years and I thought it is straight forward application. 2) I paid by Credit Card. I did inform my credit card provider that there will be a big transaction in case they try to block it. 3) I hope you ...

Joybv, I agree with you. I carried all the P60s just in case if the Case worker asks for it.

Smam, Thanks for your wishes. Yes, I get my payslips online and that is why I got them attested. And yes you are correct, if you getting originals then there is no need to get them attested. I also got my WP in 2007 but that was only for 3 years and during that time the rules changed. So in 2010 whe...

wiqram, I did attest the payslips from my employer but I didn't attest the P60. Regarding SoC code, if you see the application form, in Section 11 for Tier 2 migrants it does says that the letter from sponsor should contain "- the nearest applicable SOC code which best describes your employment...

Ozair, The case worker didn't look at any P60. May be because I am with the same employer. I took a photocopy of all the pages that contain personal details, visas or immigration stamps (any country). I did make a sheet of all the absences but the case worker didn't look into that. She checked the &...

ILR success at Solihull - WP + Tier 2

Hi, I got my ILR approved on the 21/08/2012, just sharing my experience. My appointment was at 09:30 am, reached the office at 8:45, went in, was asked to wait for the token. After my token number was called at 9:20 (10 mins early), I went to see the case worker. She asked for the application form (...

Hesskaz, I went through a very similar situation in 2007 where I moved to a new company and despite giving me assurance about my new work permit, they didn't apply for it. I started working for them and for some reasons it took around 4 months to get my work permit. After getting the work permit, I ...

Hi,

My extension was a simple case since I am still working at the same level. So while applying the CoS my existing job designation and job responsibilities where mentioned.
I think in your case also it shouldn't be a problem.

Regards,

Hi, I went to the Solihull PEO last Friday. They didn't give any letter about the application but told me verbally that my application has been successful. They also mentioned that I will get the confirmation letter in next 2 working days. I received the ICFN card on Wednesday(yesterday) and I recei...

Hi, I got the visa extension under tranisitional arrangements. Thanks to kart for the information provided. I took an appointment for visa extension, went there on the 06th August, the case worker looked at the application form (which has changed from the 31st July) and after carefully going through...

Hi, Thank you for the reply. My company will be issuing a CoS in the first week of July which will give me around 2 months for the visa processing. About the code of practice, since it is a Transitional Arrangement, I believe "Resident Labour Market Test" isn't required and the salary give...
