i also applied in last month as a spouse of Irish National normally how long it will take for approval Thanks It varies a lot, anywhere from 6 months to over a year. Mine (as spouse of Irish national) was 13 months. Check out the timeline threads for 2017 and 2018 for more info on approval times.

If you don't have any other utility bills, perhaps you could try submitting some other types of bills e.g. for TV license, waste collection, and include a note stating you don't have a gas bill or phone bill, only electricity bill for utilities.

@ghsherazi: They asked for a copy of the document used for identification purposes on the spousal declaration (or civil partner declaration). i.e. the identity page of the passport, national identity card, or travel document, etc.

When was your passport returned?

INIS says to allow a minimum of 4 weeks for the return of your passport after submitting a citizenship application. When was your passport been returned to you? Was it with acknowledgement letter or second letter, or some other time?
