She entered the UK on 29th of March so she was well within the time limit she could stay outside the UK.
So are you saying if her visa valid from date is 14/02/2011 then she can only apply for ILR on 01/02/2013 and no earlier - correct?

My wife was granted UK spous visa from Pakistan (visa valid from date 14/02/11 valid 14/05/13).
When can we submit an ILR application - i.e. how many months before the expiry of her visa?

Thanks Vinny for the reply - I did enuiries about a British passport initially costing around £100 but the waiting time is 7 -8 months. My wife just got her Call in Letter so we dont want to be waiting for months.
