Thanks for the reply. I am currently under Tier 2 General.

I do have one child born in the UK, so will not add her to the main applicant.

Partner visa requirement for ILR

Hi,

I will be eligible for ILR in March 2012. My wife has been in the UK for less than 5 years. Does she need to fulfil the 5 year requirement or is it just for the main applicant??

I also have 2 kids under 5 and will be adding them to my application. This should be fine??

Thanks.

Thanks. Will try and see if I can delay start for the new job. Sometimes I hate the rules as there is no flexibility.

Thanks for the quick reply. My situation is that at the time of application I will not have completed by ILR, however as it takes 6 weeks to process the postal application, I would be entitled for ILR.

Just trying to see if I can avoid making double applications and paying twice.

Also janala, I can't understand that when you have £5000 savings for over 5 months why did you not qualify for points? did you n...

Hi Arsenal, Thanks for the response. I have not made the leave to remain extension application as yet as my visa expires in August. I will be making the application next month. My previous work permit was before 27th Nov 2008, when the old work permit rule still applied. So I've never applied using ...
