It should be fine, as you do want to add your wife name, No need to carry marriage certificate.

Yes, it's happening the same way. But you need to make sure site is up (open a new window in different browser and test whether is site is up or not by clicking myaccount link no need to login..) each time whenever you are submitting in the browser...

From your post, its ok to fill marriage status as "married" and relation to main application as "wife" and given information must be valid before dependant applicant signing and submit the application at VFS.
