wouldnt be a problem. the dates on bank statement should match up.

I have done it myself and it got the visa. theres a good template in the sticky, I modified a bit myself but it works well as it is as well.

I entered 1.5 years late on my visa, no questions were asked at immigration.
possible justication for you could its due to personal and family issues that I had to stay. other reasons may include, Child birth, marriage, bought new house, new job etc.

No need to obtain a letter for contacting period from the agency. You can just include the Invoices for that 4 month period. Mention the contact relevant details in that Agency.

I also agree with mulderpf, there is no reason for immigration office to stop you. I myself travelled back to UK after a 18 months break in India. Immigration officer did not ask any questions to me.

I Work in Waterloo as well. I live near Pudding mill lane station, which is very close to both Jubilee and central Line. Takes about 40 mins door door for me.

I believe UKBA allows earnings to be shown from multiple sources. I did it too, but that were from same employer.
