Re: PBS dependent extension questions

Hi vinny, Thanks to you (and other admins) in these forums I had a successful ILR PEO application last week! Just waiting for the BRP in the mail now. As mentioned above, my wife's PBS dependent appointment is only a few weeks away and wanted to double check the document list for the same. I was una...

Re: When is earliest to apply for PBS extension?

Hi Vinny, Ok so we have the exact same situation and almost identical dates too but for this year (2015) instead. Is this advice still valid? i.e. if I get my ILR in May and my wife applies for a PBS extension right after that (even though her PBS dependent visa expires in Aug) she won't be too earl...

Re: Absences while self employed

Right so I think I'm OK as I've had way less than 180 days in any consecutive 12 month period. I've been self employed since my Post Study Work visa until present so thats a good thing and keeps stuff uncomplicated. Lastly, I guess the only thing I need is a letter detailing all the absences with re...

Re: PBS dependent extension questions

Thank you so much for your response Senthil.

What about this question regarding the 3 month issue?
Her current leave ends on 24th Aug so first week of May will be well earlier than 3 months before her visa expiry. Will this be a problem?
Thanks

Re: Absences while self employed

Perhaps you misunderstood me.

I've had a total of 250 days of absence in last five years but it's never gone over 180 days in any given 12 year period.

I'm really confused regarding what do I need to do!

Absences while self employed

Hi guys, I'm a self employed sole trader freelancer applying for ILR in May 2015 via the Tier 1 General route. I've read online that I need to account for all my absences in the last 5 years and have also found some useful templates for the same on this forum (thanks!). My questions to you guys are:...

Time spent on T1-G to count for PBS dependent 5yr probation

Hi Gurus, First, I would like to thank all the gurus out there (Amber, Vinny, etc) for being so helpful in these forums. I have used your advice in my past successful applications! This post is for my wife who is currently a PBS dependent on my Tier 1 General Visa. My wife has been in the UK as a Ti...

Point (c) seems helpful. I have 2 LTD companies (IT) of my own and am about to start another shortly (IT as well). My wife already helps out part-time with the 2 companies, maybe I can get her as an employee will that help? Perhaps Tier-2? I can also list her as a director/co-founder of the 3rd comp...

Hey, Thanks for pointing that out, it saved us a lot of wasted effort! I'd be grateful if you could advise us for our next step: a) She goes to India and applies as a dependant and comes back with 5yr probationary period. (Is there any way we can get her 2yrs spent here on Tier-1 count towards her 5...

Spouse moving from independent T1 to T1 dependant

Hello everyone, I will be really grateful if someone could take the time to answer my question. I've search this forum and others extensively in vain and it seems our case is fairly unique. I have received a biometric 3yr extension to my Tier-1 (G) visa on 26-Aug-2012 and have held the T1(G) visa si...
