Guys, Glasgow PEO cannot verify proof of earning for contractors and sole traders. I just called two times and they confirmed that. I am going to cancel my in-person appointment and post my documents soon.

We can ask for a visa after settlement which will last 5 years and is very long time to wait. My wife can not leave her alone even for 2 years for being eligible for ILR. We are in big trouble and unfortunately it seems that there is no defined rules for this situation.

Any other advise?

I had the same problem and I asked ECO to post-date my visa and after they checked my VAF9 they accept to issue a letter to submit my passport to VAC. I got a pre-scheduled appointment to submit my passport for the new visa in the next week.
