Anyone got their ILR granted despite visa gaps

Hello there,

Just curious whether is there anyone granted ILR despite there were gaps in the 10 yrs residency period?

From SAR file I can see I have a gap due to rejected application back in 2005 (on the ground that fee payment failed to go through credit card)

slightly worried now!!!

That really depends on how confident he/his family is with current immigration rules to argue his case in writing,
since his case is slightly complicated,could be a good idea give it to a lawyer to deal with. Just to buy some assurance,

Beige, tks!!! just a quick shout out, from my friends experience, they all had straight forward application,i.e. no gap/ <absence allowance etc. so I guess if any of you got straight forward cases then should expect a relatively faster decision this year. (if you submitted post-Jan 2010) in my case,...
