Changes

For point 1 - It is clearly mentioned that 100 points will not apply to extension application.

I haven't read about point 3 - Insurance contribution. What does it mean? Isn't NI is being paid as employer's and employee's contribution separately?

Why did you write Math/Eco on Form?
Is your degree mentioning Math/ECO as special subjects?

This is very strange case of rejection I have never heard of such rejection before.

Sign on behalf of 1 year old child

I am preparing Tier 1 dependent application for my 1 year old kid. Understand that I have to sign on behalf of child as child is one year old. The confusion is that there are boxes above signature where name has to be put. I am confused whether it should be name of child or parent?

Tax breaks

Let me clarify one thing - I am not talking about some tax refund you claim if you go back to India within two years and don't plan to come back in next 12 months. I question is regarding Living allowances paid by Indian employer which are not taxed as they are allowances in the first two years. Not...

I also read that but I thinks that is not valid now because -
1. this was from HSMP days
2. Point based calculator recognizes earning in each country separately.

Dear Moderator,

I agree with your statement that earnings are considered for calender month. So what happens in this case, uplift ratio can't be applied to 6 days when some one was in india?

Dependent Visa - Addrerss Proof Required

Noticed that some section of dependent guidance talks about proof of address for depenedents. I am not sure whether it is required in my circumstances. I am planning to move from Tier 2 to Tier 1 and have two dependents (spouse and a kid). Do I need any address proof for them in UK?

Meeting gross of GBP 50, 000

There was a document from UKBA, which expained changes from 6th April. This document clearly stated that one can not gross up the salary to consider taxes. We can not add tax advantages to show equivalent gross. As Sushd said, gross should ge shown on salary slip/employer letter document.

How do you identify the earning during those 24 days for not applying uplift ratio? Do you prorate the earning for that month? I was in Singapore on Business visa for 1 month (15 days in each month). It seems that I can also not apply uplift ratio.
