Whether your UK-born-son is granted ILR or not doesn't make a difference! As explained, once you have ILR register your son as British and then apply for British passport. 70% of postal applications are decided within 4 weeks (20 working days)
90% within 14 weeks (70 working days).

These documents are not asked for in the ILR application form, so no reason to worry about. It was on basis of these documents (amongst others) that your dependents were granted dependent visas. So UKBA shouldn't need them again as a proof that you are the husband/wife of your spouse and the father...
