I cant apply under the WP catergory due to being out of the UK for around 310 days due to spending my maternity leave abroad with my family. ILR -Absence from the UK + 180 days due to Maternity Leave

Hi,

I qualify for ILR in December 10, however, I would have spent more than 180 days out of the UK when I spent my maternity leave abroad with my family.

My husband is in the same situation due to flying over to see us every opportunity is got.

Will this be a problem when we apply.

Thanks :P :?

Indefinite leave either via work permit or 10 year rule

Hello, My family and I qualify for the 10 year rule ILR in September 10 but we also qualify for the 5 year ILR in December 10. Can we wait to apply for the 5 year ILR as apposed to the 10 year ILR because we can apply together and it works out a lot cheaper. Also this means we can apply in person vs...
