ICFN Appointments

I have applied for Tier-2 Main & also for Tier-2 dependants for two of my dependants.

Is it absolutely necessary to have the biometric done for all of us together?
I understand that UKBA does advise that one should try best to attend as a family group.

But that restriction is going to make me jobless now..

as start date on CoS is 1st June and I have not yet got any feedack from UKBA (not even biometric appointment notification)

Thanks sushdmehta for the fats responses.

The thing i want to know is different from the one highlighted in blue.

The blue text says I can work for my current employer till the start date mentioned in the CoS but what I am looking to know is whether I can work even after the start date?
