Just called INIS to get status of my application (Ref 58/5xxx/10) after long time. Ann hurriedly replied "Your application is at final stage (Didn't give any exact details). We don't know when the next citizenship ceremony is scheduled. Minister hasn't decided any ceremony date yet. Bye bye bye...

IRISH PHAROE is correct, tullamore has always posted conflicting replies about his / her status. Until tullamore confirms the news source, i will treat it as rumor.

Let's not lose our hope and cross our fingers for next set of approvals before November. :)

Today i received acknowledgement receipt of my correspondence with INIS dated 09/07/2011 8) Means INIS has around 2.5 post backlog !! I updated them with my latest salary slips and LTR certificate. I think we need to give them some time to deal with backlog. Also Thx to Pikka for sharing the link :)...

Hi. I submitted the additional documents to INIS last Monday and An Post record shows that INIS recevied it on Wednesday. Its very strange that for some people they are dealing it very quickly. Does your friend who applied in Oct 2010 had LTR as well? And in your case i guess they are roughly saying next year because in website it says 23 months My friend and my case is almost identical. We landed Ireland in Oct 2004....

I sent the application thru registered post and i can see the name of person also who has received the application on AnPost website. 25 th May is the actual receive date at the Tipperary office.

Let's wait for 1 more week.

Application for Naturalization - No acknowledgement

I applied for Irish Naturalization on May 25, 2010. Even after 15 days, i haven't received any acknowledgement yet for the application.

My colleagues who applied in Feb , got acknowledgement within 4 days.

Please share your past experience on this topic ?
