It makes no difference, as long as the things which need to be mentioned are mentioned. And before Q4sim asks, I would like to say in advance that, its ok to use blue, black or any other kind of ink. Its ok to use a ball point or a fountain pen. Its also perfectly ok if someone uses a typewriter or...

I would normally reccommend that you put a date about 8 weeks after you have lodged your application. This is because it takes on average 8 -12 weeks to get visa. Once you have got visa most people like to fly to UK starightaway, but those who dont want to can delay their travel for a maximum of 3 ...

q4sim, if you wish for your wife to travel immediatley after the visa is issued then just put a couple of weeks ahead from when you submit the application. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is more for people who want to travel at some future time after the application is submitted, say you submitt...

"On which dates do you wish to travel to the UK"

The above is the second question on the VAF 4A application form.

My wife is intending to travel as soon as she gets her visa but we obviously do not know the date that this will be.

What should she write in this section?

Yes 8 weeks seems the norm these days or it could take slightly longer. Inshallah you will hear positive news within this time frame.
Out of curiosity, what did you get refused on last time?.

I called Property link, and they have quoted me £150. They will let me know if they can come out to me by tomorrow. You do have to convince the ECO that the property will not be overcrowded and a housing report is a way to do this. The other way as Batleykhan stated would be to do it yourself. Eith...

It seems that more and more people are using lyca and lebara mobile to contact their loved ones abroad. This is good as it does leave you with call history unlike phone cards at a decent-ish price. My issue is the following:- I have over 150 pages of call records emailed to me by lebara mobile in a ...
