First of all calm down. UKBA has no personal relationship with your employer. All decisions are made black and white based on your documents by UKBA. Do not reveal future employer details at your will unless deemed necessary. They can't force you to go back and as per UK rules, your notice period sh...

RLMT details check stage

Hi Experts, My friend has received an Unrestricted COS for Tier 2(G). Queries are: 1) I know while issuing a COS employer has to enter details of RLMT like Advert details etc. At what stage UKBA validates these details? At the time when sponsor issues certificate or when a person applies? In simple ...

I put in an application to switch from work permit to Tier 2 visa but was refused because my company did not carry out a labour market test. My visa was also curtailed and I'm now required to leave on the 10th of December. I am surprised after knowing this... why did UKBA curtail your current visa ...

That's confusing. They mentioned 'expiry'. Why are you assuming it applies if it hasn't expired? Broccoli wants to say that if you have visa that has not expired then the rule will not apply to you. But to be honest, I think this is not what UKBA is trying to implement. Wording is not clear but may...

Yes...even I am interpreting the statement on the same lines. Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 G will not be possible until 12 months after expiry.

But this will be a surprise and setback to many people. I hope our interpretation is wrong and things get clarified.
I would leave it to others to comment.

Can I travel to Scotland when my T2 ext. is in process?

Hi All,

Just want to confirm if I can travel to Scotland for couple of days when my ext. is in process. I do not have passport in my hand.
Is there an immigration check while travelling or are there any other risks involved?

As long as you meet the below requirement, no need to worry. (d) The sponsor that issued the Certificate of Sponsorship that led to the applicant's last grant of leave must certify in writing that: (i) he still requires the applicant for the employment in question, and (ii) his employer certifies th...
