Not to sound harsh but I have lost track of the number of times this question has been asked. I am sure experienced contributors are going to get pain in their hands typing answers to the oft repeated questions. Think about it with a cool mind. All you need is a stamp and a signature. You can get it done with say somebody in Finance department also or security (the best place as they will not ask any questions). You could try 1) Bank Statements for 12 months 2) Form 16 from the employer or tax authority Hav...

I do not have new rules guidance. Kindly check from your end. It is easily downloaded (around 600 KB). It will be handy reference.

I have calculated wrong. I am getting just 70 points in Appendix A . If it is 70 points, you may not be eligible. My Date of birth as per certificate : 01-July-1980, do they calculate 29 years or 30 years? for this? Age is considered to be the years completed at the time of application or fees paid...

As iD explained you have to show payslips for 12 continuous months in the 15 month cycle preceding your application date. Based on this, you can plan regarding the exclusion of July Pay. I would suggest a reading of Tier-1 guidance (it's available at UKBA Website). It is the guiding document. Shepherd

Re: Is it worth to apply for T1G now?

With the present job market and the immigration and citizenship rules become tighter, is it worth to go for a Tier 1 G visa now ? Please post in your thoughts.... You are the best judge. Given the circumstances, discuss with well wishers about the merits of going for Tier-1. In my opinion forums ar...

2) Is it something like , we need to have HSMP or any equivalent visa , then only we can even think about a job in UK OR the comapny which we applied , say for example if we selected , will take care of our visa process as well ? You need to do your homework before posing a question like this. All ...

Seeing the volume of posts related to Job market in UK, I was wondering if job hunters in the market could post their experiences i.e 1. when they started the job search, 2. how did they go about it, 3. their experience in getting resume's forwarded whilst dealing with agencies 4. trying to fix an i...

I feel it is easy to get a call once you work with the client here and build rapport from offshore locations or visit in short periods on Tier-2 and work here , otherwise we may need to possess the exact skill-sets asked in the jobs + lots of patience + money to get "that right job" in the...

This is not anything to do with tier 1 visas, but will affect those that apply for jobs in this and other countries. The prime reason for this is the disparity in the pay structure and lack of maturity in Indian IT industry. A guy in a happening field may be paid as much as twice his counterpart in...

You can enter the UK till your visa is valid. You need to be aware that at a time entry on One Visa is permitted as I see you have mentioned something related to long term assignment. If it is Tier-2 Visa, he can enter on Tier-2 and enjoy the stay. In case he needs to be Tier-1, he needs to re-enter...

I seriously think we should not be judges so as to what is the experience held by Tier-1 or Tier-2 Visa holders as it is immaterial to awarding the visas. One should be true to himself and his principles, complaining about others being not fair is classic case of grapes gone sour (as in reality noth...

There was a clause which I think could be used suitably in your case. Application date is considered as the earliest between the date fees paid or biometric details submitted. So by paying fees earlier may be you could gain the points to the maximum extent. There was a thread along these lines earli...

Form 16 might list your total net pay isn't it? You might lose some points because of this in the earning section. From my old guidance copy I have the following. I would advise you to go through the new guidance for more information. Official tax document produced by iv) the tax authority or employ...

Take two separate statements to feel confident

1) One for 12 months earnings period for which the claim is made
2) Second for 3 month Maintenance period claim
