Re: Hi

If u have exact figures post them, i will be happy to forward to everyone. Post looks childish. How to do you propose to find out those on fake experience ? Are we going to conduct some poll? We need to grow up and understand that world is not a level playing field. If there are people with fake ex...

Again .. HOPE v/s Reality. Hope floats.
Floats in calm water of one's dream but needs to be seen in rough seas of the real world (May be Tier-1 brings out philosophers in us :) )

You can answer immigration honestly and it should be like a breeze. As far as I know no one asks about proof of accommodation. I would advise you to start applying for jobs and build rapport with agencies and then plan a journey because it is difficult to predict the number of calls one gets and the...

Information is incomplete to answer the query. If you have submitted in VFS, then you need to use the tracking reference in the bill given by them. On the other hand, if you have submitted to HC directly, there is no direct way to track it. The application number is put on the visa by the HO. There ...

Please don't get me wrong. I feel one is best suited to assess the work he has done, way to present it based on the needs of the role. CV Writers may do an eye candy for CV but adding value will be in your hands. So I will advise to write your own CV and believe me, you will feel good once it is don...

It is better to carry it than to get it done there. I was not asked when I came over. It might also have to do something on UKBA website which says Chest X-Rays are required for those planning to stay more than six months. Googling the link is: http://www.vfs-uk-bd.com/tbtesting.aspx It gives a link...

Points Calculator at UKBA website would be for initial applications. Have you checked the guidance (available as pdf). It will give the points for all sections for both the initial applications as well as extension

Whole point of new rules is to raise the bar on extension. It might be difficult to get salary as expected with the kind of competition around. May be you could consult friends and well-wishers to make sure your HSMP fee doesn't end up as a charity

Typically the maintenance fund letter can be taken up-to one month prior to the date of application (Check the new guidelines ). You can request the bank to put the equivalent amount in GBP and the exchange rate will be put up by bank themselves.

You might have to clear immigration at two levels, one at native country airport and one at UK. I hope you must have started applying for jobs now and might have got some kind of responses from the consultants. Do carry a print out of the same. Carry a Chest X-Ray and report of the same from any rec...

As far as I know, there is no such requirement. If you see your stamped Visa, it mentions "No recourse to Public funds", this means that any time the individual is on his own and the state will not help him during the period of unemployment etc. Hence you need to carry "enough" m...

I feel it plays out this way. No caps means lot of people will apply for say Tier - 1, we have lots of income flowing into the treasury which is good for any country. On the top of that half of the visa holders at least try to fly in search of job boosting the airline industry and stay put in any ac...
