The customer care executive from the Bank said these statements should be fine. They said they have been giving these to everyone and so far there has been no problem.

HO is concerned with your Gross earnings and net earnings. Income tax is not their ambit.

I was just checking the Tier-1 guidance. There is no requirement of such a letter. In case the PBS calculator recognizes the degree, the points are awarded and the original degree certificate is taken as the proof.
