If your two months salary is paid in two installments each month, yes you need to produce both the payslips. Explain in the covering letter about this as a safety measure.

Policy guidance contains the documents acceptable for earnings proof. Briefly

One of these documents
1)Income tax documents
2)Salary Slips (Signed and Stamped)
3)Salary statement from Employer

This document
1)Bank Statement for earnings period

Reading guidance is strongly advised

References would be asked for in the interview. Hence you could say in the References section as "Available on Request" instead of publicizing it on the CV

Do they really do that?
With the kind of numbers flowing out to different countries on different Visas on any given day, I guess the best way to do their duty is to ascertain the cause of visit by asking questions and to get convinced. I fully empathize with them.

Re: Which place to make base for IT job hunting in UK?

I am considering a full and final attempt after being in UK. Have hope and get a feel of the market. This should be your initial attempt rather than final one, given the time is near to XMAS. If you cant see this from the new point system well then I cant say much more. It is what it is.. It works like this. If the economy is in recession, you have more people looking out for work, then you scale the points such that less number of people can work their way in and compete in the market....

Tier 1 is for people who are earning 30,40k+, the key word been highly skilled therefore highly paid. Highly paid does not mean highly skilled and highly skilled does not mean highly paid (looks like a tongue twister  ) I remember the lower scale of the earnings to be around 17000 GBP during t...
