My question, 1. since I got married after the initial visa decision was made, do i need to inform UKB...

zaynab I believe Customer Service jobs are available, but are not going to pay enough for Tier 1 extension. However, this is the impression I got through internet, so might just as well be wrong. For a Tier 1 immigrant a High Skilled job is the answer. Unfortunately for a high skilled banking job in...

Initial entry to the UK.. and extension

Hi guys.. Thanks to this forum.. I got my T1 in June 2010, but decided not to jump blindly to the UK leaving my job in my country. I have been searching for jobs from home, got close to some phone interviews from some Banks (I'm in banking), but nothing really worked as yet. However, now i'm a bit c...

IELTS test validity for HSW application

I have found in CIC website that test results must not be older than 1 year at the time of application. Since IELTS validity is 2 years, does it mean that one must apply within a year from getting the scores, or one must apply within a year from the last day of IELTS validity? It would really help i...

I had the impression that it is issued for 2 years; hence there were so many posts here regarding arriving to the UK within 28 days of visa. But one of my freinds just got his T1 (G) with a 3 year validity. ...

My certificate shows 2004 since the convocation and award ceremony was held in 2004, even though my classes ended in 2003. Is it a good idea to choose 2003?

1. Logic wise, the conversion rate of INR to GBP means the rate at which you sell INR to buy GBP. And that rate should equal 0.01467. 2. For an experiment, if you use the other converter on the oanda site, it shows just one rate. We have confusions because the classic converter gives us 2 rates. If ...
