Salary Requirements - Before Tax or After ?

Sorry if this question is mediocre,

But when we show the salary requirements that UKBA has set out in for TIER 1 GENERAL point system , is the salary that is credited to the bank that is counted or the amount that is got before taxation ?

Please let me know . Thank you for your time

Is there no more visa stamping after the biometric ?

Most of my friends who got the visa say that the biometric card is the visa , and they dont stamp it anymore in the passport ? is that true ?

Does that mean that with the biometirc card i can travel out of uk even though my passport is not stamped ?

Sorry if i asked a stupid question :(
