UKBA finally decided to do something on my application..

After waiting almost 8 months I received a letter from UKBA which asks three more documents and return them within 14 days. RoosterNZ congratulations mate.. If you could also tell us where your visa was issued and under which category you apllied that would be useful.. Assuming that you got it that fast you should have applied under either SET (Z) or SET(Y) category and visa must have been issued either in Kent or Hull !!!

I think child benefit does not have any effect on ILR because as the name implies it is your child receives the benefit not you. Also being subject to immigration control doesn't necessarily mean that you can't get child benefit because if UK has social services agreement with your original country ...

Anybody else still waiting for ILR HSMP JR

Just an update Send my application HSMP JR (1+3) on 25 /12/2009 (2 dependents) Confirmation received on 29/12/2009 And waiting since then.. Contacted HO phone line many times but same answer.. Send a fax, a letter but not a response.. Had to cancel my holiday, can't apply for new jobs since they ask...

ILR Aoplication

I have applied after 4 years of HSMP permit under HSMP JR rules. I had originally 1 year and then 4 years HSMP extension but with the dates I had my first HSMP visa I am entitled to apply to ILR after four years.
