sushdmehta, thank you but could you tell me what A1 would equate to as an IELTS score? Would that be 3, 4?

I've looked here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Eur ... _Languages and it just says breakthrough level?

Visitors Visa Denial

If one has been denied a visa to enter and they do not appeal does this mean that they will be banned from entering for 6 years? Its what I have been told by friends so one must always appeal?
