I have no immediate travel plans.
I am planning to go to India by September but I am wondering if I will be getting my Approved naturalisation before my passport expires?

I am not sure if I the process is easy to renew the expired Indian passport...I dont want to get stuck :(

I am still waiting and applied on 14th Jan :(.

My Indian passport is expiring this month end and I am confused if I have to renew the passport??.

Cant do much with this UKBA other than waiting..

I just called them up for status and they said application still in process :(.
I am worried becos I gave very approximate dates and months for the 5 years address as i dont remember the month and dates..I have moved nearly 6 times in 5 years tenure..

I applied on 14th January 2014 via NCS..

Amber, Thats why I made it very simple.I am in no hurry for applying for my daugfhter as it would be very easy for her to get the citizenship. My only worry is there should not be any problem when we bring our daughter on ILR to UK while we parents are citizen. Especially Indian officials should not...

Problem is If I get her Citizenship, I will have to surrender her indian passport within 90 days? and If I surrender her passport then she will become illegal stayer in India without OCI?.
