Short of 8 days for ILR

I am short of 8 days for my ILR, even after utilizing the 28 day period. I had work permit before then i switched to Tier1 which when expires is making me short of 8 days. Can Savings be used as Income?

I have a question:

Can savings like Cash ISA be used as income along with salary slips?
