Did the UKBA agree to vary your application from FLR(O) to tier 2? I am in a similar situation and wanted to know if you were successful or not.

Graduete developer (Tier 2)

Yes, my employer knows that. And that's why they chose to assign that SOC code to me. They even increased my salary because when I was offered the job, my salary was 22,500 but as that was lower than the amount stated in the codes of practice, they increased it to 24,000. Like I said, I was just wea...

sorry in my last thread I wrote: I spoke to 3 different people at the immigration advisory bureau

Hi johnjkjk, thanks for your reply. I called them this morning and they said we can only request urgent treatment when there is 2 weeks or less left on my visa. But for me, that time frame is too short as I don't know if they will give us the license on time. I am pretty convinced that my employer's...

Hi Levi13,

Thanks for your reply. I am not an EU citizen. I am a Nigerian citizen and therefore I need to apply for a work visa to go and work in Spain. I just want to know if my caution here in the UK could result in them denying me the visa.

Any help or advice is much appreciated

Thank you for reply to my post. Ok, I understand all this. Overall though, what do you think my chances are? I have spoken to a lawyer and he told me that my failure to notify the home office of my change of instituition is hardly an immigration crime and that it would be very harsh for them to pena...

I studied there from the winter semester of 2006 until the autumn semester of 2007. I enrolled as a fulltime student for...
