I would keep a copy of the COA, send them the original by "Recorded Post" and accompany both with a cover letter, this way you can track your mail in case it get's lost in limbo.

You needn't worry yourself about that, just mail them to correct this and you should receive a new COA with the correct details. Good luck.

Hi Emilia,

Congratulations on your new status. I believe you will need to apply for a visa to go to any EEA nation , if you take your partner's passport or ID with you to the embassy, it should be free. You may now go through the EU queue when coming back to the UK.

I believe you're still a family member of the EEA national until Decree Absolute, so if your 3 years falls betweendivorce initiation and decree absolute, you're covered.

I've read about some EEA4 applicants being issued with a further 5 years RC. Since PR is automatic after 5 years, Will this person be able to apply for BC one year after or does the person have to wait another 5 years then apply for PR?
