@ Raj422 Why are you cancelling your appointment? I called the appointments line this morning and they told me to attend for my appointment as normal on the 25 May.

You should be able to claim a refund, at least the fee difference between postal and PEO application. I will pay by credit and will make a claim from my credit card if the UKBA fails to refund me the difference. I am sure I will have a case to claim.

I managed to book a second appointment at Liverpool for the following week, so that if there are IT problem at Croydon, I can go to Liverpool. If all goes well at Croydon, I cancel my appointment.

If I pay the fee at Croydon and IT problems crop up, can I get a refund and my documents back?

Did they turn anyone away without a decision whilst you were there?

I have an afternoon appointment in 2 two weeks time and I am dreading being turned away after paying the hefty fee.

Photocopies of documents for PEO ILR application

I am not sure which documents are required to be photocopied for an ILR PEO application.

Form states 'You should photocopy each of these documents and provide the copies in addition to the originals'

From this I understand that I need to photocopy everything.

Family residency rule will probably change in April 2012, the probationary period for foreign spouses will be extended from 3 to 5 years. Maybe the FLR(M) will be extended by another 3 years in this case. refer to this topic: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=82294&postdays=0&...

And as regards the resource level, those considering ILR on the spouse route are under instructions not to reject applications merely on financial grounds.
It looks that this may change soon and a minimum income will be expected.
