It happened again today. It looks like a disaster at Croydon. I wonder how must the government paid for this appalling IT system.

What time was your appointment? Some people were turned away today because of IT biometrics problem.

I have my PEO appointment Friday afternoon, I wonder if I can go early and try to have my biometrics before my scheduled appointment. Maybe I wont be let in early by security.

I have my PEO appointment this Friday, I dread being turned away empty-handed.

I wonder if I can go early morning to have my biometrics and then have my appointment as scheduled.

Maybe afternoon appointments were not processed as fast as this one.

I wonder if there were any IT problems like yesterday afternoon.

I believe they mean the application form, I printed the appointment email as well. You just print the PEO appointment notification only.

I am sure you can take UKBA to a small claims court to reclaim the fee difference.

If someone pays with a credit card, one can try to claim through the credit card first.

Will the new immigration rules likely impact on the naturalisation process of spouses/civil partners (of British citizens) who are now on ILR en route to naturalisation?

I suggest you call them again to reconfirm your appointment just in case.

I booked my PEO appointment online, but I still called later to confirm my appointment.

I suspect that they do not want to give bad news to applicants and they go charged up and angry armed with something to the embassy. The applicants find out after they open the envelope outside the embassy probably.

It would help if you say when you booked your appointment.

I suspect UKBA sms you a few days before your appointment.

You should have booked the appointment online and confirmed it with a phone call.

Were there any IT problems and upset people turned away?

Mine PEO appointment is in the afternoon next week and I dread being turned away and wait months for ILR.

This is going to be a guessing game. I suspect it is not Croydon, since she/he got a call from PEO notifying him/her of ILR approval.

You may be refused boarding by the airline since you do not hold a visa/BRP. You would not have problems on arrival in the UK, a letter confirming your ILR is sufficient.

You should have your BRP by the 18th. Someone got it within four days.

I wont risk it if I were you.
