I know mate, I wish I had gone for premium also. 8 weeks now, no even letter of acknowledgment. Called HO, was told not to bother until 14 weeks gone since application received. So I guess we have no choice but to wait. Hope you will get your's soon. No use lamenting something you could never have....

Hi All, Nearly 8 weeks now, still no letter from HO, solicitor says we have no rights up until 14 weeks has gone to ask for the letter to confirm documents received, HO help desk also advised recorded delivery number is a replacement for acknowledgment letter. Strange not a big issue to send another...

Trust me it is no one's fault, someone got their application considered sooner even though posting after you. Caseworkers are also humans, so they have their own small weaknesses. Hi Sammie, You application might be under consideration for 6 month. If after 6 month you have not received no correspondance from UKBA you can contact your local MP by writing a letter to him/her providing all the info and asking to contact UKBA on your behalf.
