Re: Absence reason

Yes I was working in India during the long absence - however I was transferred to the parent company in UK at a later date. Also I am breaking the long absence in 2 duration of <180 days. Why would my residency requirements be broken ?

Thanks,
Vin

Re: Urgent: Tier 1 Extension 2015 Query

Hi, Since you have one long absence of more than 180 days, your continuous period is reset. For continuous period, you have to meet two things: 1) No single absence of 180 days or more 2) No more than 180 days absence during each of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 years before application. If your absence was mad...

Re: ILR Confusion on 180 days and Absence Reason???

Please note that my absence during the following period i.e.

4 15-Mar-2012 16-Mar-2011 166 Days
5 15-Mar-2011 16-Mar-2010 110 Days

was when I had Tier 1 Gen Visa & not ICT T2 visa.

Do I still need to produce a letter to explain my absence ?

Thanks,
Vin

Hi All - A simple query here ---

If due to any reason my in person PEO application for TIER 1 extension is rejected - can I then correct the reason & re-submit the application by post ? Is this allowed - of course before my current visa time expires ?

Thanks - appreciate a response !

I came to UK on Tier 2 & switched to TIER 1.

So in this case I should be giving TIER 2 details right ?

While filling up the TIER 1 Extension form ... Section: D. Immigration History Page: 20 one of the sections asks for details of visa obtained before coming to UK. In my case it was a TIER 2 visa & than TIER 1 ... So I am guessing I have to fill in my T2 details here ... Also Section:C6 Page:17 P...
