Can spouse fly out of uk for a week 1 day after collecting BRP

Hi, My spouse is coming to the UK on spouse visa soon. However she needs to exit the country for a week for personal reasons a day after collecting her BRP. Is that likely to cause any problems at immigration? Will the entry clearance officers question why the spouse left country right next day afte...

Re: Spouse visa - Housing Report needed?

One more question: along with the originals...do you need to send photocopies as well? Or do they do the photocopies themselves before returning originals to you?

Have read conflicting advice on this. Don't want to have them retain originals for title deed etc!

Re: Spouse visa - Housing Report needed?

Ok more questions: - what time in the process and where exactly can i apply for the priority service? Is it a separate process after you've submitted the online application and paid standard fee+nhs fee? Or does that option have to be selected earlier somewhere before submitting application? - how m...

Spouse visa - Housing Report needed?

Hi All, I've seen conflicting statements on whether housing report is needed in case of single occupancy + self owned (on leasehold and mortgage) property? For example below guide seems to suggest it is required (I assume it is allowed to post such links- I take no responsibility for the contents!):...

Spouse visa - pay slips confirmation letter

Hi, My employer only provides online e-payslips. There is a facility to print pdf versions of them and get them signed and stamped from HR. However HR is categorically refusing to add any wording in the Employment Reference Letter regarding the payslips (or their authenticity). I'm wondering what to...

how recent do the referees signoffs need to be?

Hi, I got my referees to sign-off for me a couple of months ago and had all my other documentation ready as well. Then I belatedly realized I still couldn't apply for another couple of months due to "physically being in UK" requirement that I had initially overlooked. Does anyone know how ...

Liability order civil judgment?

Hi,

Anyone knows if a liability order (for council tax) falls under ambit of a civil judgment?

As per my understanding one off civil judgements are prob not a big issue however I don't want to declare unnecessarily either especially if they change rules later.

Thanks.

Current instructions on pg 5 of application list Visa Credit Card as acceptable but for Debit Card only lists Delta and Maestro (with caveats). Can't beleive Visa Debit Card isn't acceptable :\ Sorry just venting.

Has anyone had any luck recently booking an in person appointment for tier 1 general extension? I've been trying online all day but it seems to be telling me there are no appointments available at any of the centres at any time in the future!?

Is this a service available in theory only?

Tier 1 visa on Expired Passport

Is a Tier 1 visa on an Expired Passport still valid i.e. can a person still work legally? Note I am assuming no replacement passport has been obtained (which will DEFINITELY be needed when travelling in/out of the country). I've found only one similar thread (where the reply was that visa is valid f...
