Maintenance Funds - Black/White Letterhead

Hi all, My bank printed the statement in black/white - no colors. They seem to print the letterhead (logo and name) _along with_ the statement and not on pre-printed letterheads. When I asked them to print it on a pre-printed stationary, they said they don't do it this way. The date I paid was Decem...

I received this e-mail from UKBA in regards to my incomplete online application. I'm not in the UK and my country supports online payment (not sure about India/Pakistan). We are contacting you because you have lodged a Tier 1 (general) application online but you have not yet paid your fee. In order ...

I've completed the application and paid online today, December 22.

I took an appointment for December 29th where I should submit biometrics and supporting evidence.

I'm applying from outside of UK. (not India/Pakistan)

According to Mr. Jackson, if you can go and pay today (Dec. 22nd) your application will be considered.

I received a (prompt) response from Richard Jackson. The date that will be considered is that date you made the payment -- be that online or elsewhere. So, if you pay before 23 December, your application will be valid. If you do not pay before 23 December, your application will not be considered. Yo...

I applied on 20 Dec 2010 and payment went through on 20 Dec 2010 (it even showed this on the application form). So everything was concluded on 20 Dec 2010 and then today I went to submit the documentation (21 Dec 2010). My online application now displays application date as 21 Dec 2010. That doesn'...

Possible if you're allowed to apply online and pay online (depends on country you are applying from) and then schedule an appointment to submit the documents and submit biometrics. That's exactly my case. I can pay online in my country and I plan to schedule the appointment in the first week of Jan...

T1 Closure: Paying Online NOW, Appointment Early Jan.?

Would that work? I'd like to submit my electronic application today and take an appointment -- where I hand in my documents -- end of this month or first week of January. Experts, do you think that could work? I understand it could be fuzzy, but any thoughts will be appreciated. Thank you. PS: sorry...

URGENT QUESTION

URGENT QUESTION:
I'll pay my application fee online and will request that the appointment be end of this month. (this is where I hand in my documents)

I understand it's not very clear, but any idea if that _might_ work? Any thoughts?

Thank you!

This is not the case for all my clients. So, would it suffice to just explain the mismatch wherever necessary?

Invoiced Amount and Bank Transfer Don't Match

Hello, Wire transfers from a client are always $20 less than the invoiced amount. These are the wire transfer fees. Say I invoiced the client for $1000. 1. Will it be acceptable if on the bank statement it says $980 whereas in the invoice it says $1000? 2. Also, would $1000 be my gross amount (assum...

Maintenace Contract Paid in Advance - Does it count?

One of my transactions is a payment for a maintenance agreement paid 6 months in advance. The agreement will be nearly 1 month old by the time of my application.

Will the whole amount count?

Appreciated.

Thank you for a super fast and concise reply, skomati! I think I'm inclined to go with your suggestion and stay on the safe(r) side. While there seem to be no ACCA body per-se in my country , there is one national body which has a "joint scheme relationship" with ACCA. That would probably ...

Am I a Contractor?

Hi all, I'm a bit puzzled by which category best suits me. I'm not in the UK, and in my country, the definition is also a bit fuzzy. I work with clients overseas. I do work either on project or on hourly basis. I do the work, bill them, and get paid to my bank account. I do not work through a legal ...
