With a T2 ICT Long Term Staff CoS you can apply for entry clearance any time. Hi Manci Thanks for this useful info but I'm not able to find this information on UKBA. The other websites (workpermit and some solicitors') mentioned for Long term staff - " should have worked for at least 12 months...

Previous sponsor confirmation for absences

Hi

I'm currently on ICT Long term(entered UK in 2009).
I was outside UK for < 180 days (working in India office). If I switch to Tier 2 General do I need to show previous employer (sponsor) letter confirming the absenses when I apply for ILR ?

Can you please provide the link where you got this information (maximum 60 days as you said). Also I'm not sure how you can change the employer within UK as ICT won't be allowed to switch to Tier 2 general within UK.
