I just got my british citizenship recently and I have been planning to bring my old Parents from Malaysia who is alone in home country via Ireland to the UK.

Can anyone recommend a lawyer who has experience or can help in this matter please and I would be very grateful

I got my PR last year 2010 November. I moved back to Malaysia in April and been in Malaysia since then.

I plan to return to the UK in January 2012. Can I apply for my British passport.

Will Home Office verify my passport to see how long I was absent from the Country?
