Re: Check the status of your application online - New servic

Mine said "Decided" on 16th May but until today I have not received any letter (it says I should receive a decision within 10 working days). Thinking about all the approvals in Jan and Feb 2017 which got their letters in less than 2 weeks; i'm getting worried that it may be a rejection as ...

Re: Citizenship approval

What happens if you miss the ceremony date the council gives you? It won't be a date immediately, likely a few weeks away. I see some approval dates and receipt of letter dates vary from 1-2 weeks and there is a time limit to book the ceremony from approval date? You should book your ceremony withi...

Citizenship approval

I'm slightly confused as when reading some approvals; they receive approval and have to book a date but some applicants receive the letter from the council informing them the ceremony date. Is it different in every council? I applied in Feb 2017 and will be going away for holiday for 3 weeks therefo...

Re: AN form and part-time employment history while studying

I submitted my application without any P60s or P45s as a non EU applicant. I think non-EU passport would be sufficient. I was working for the past 10 years as well (floating between part time and full time) but my NCS agent never asked me for any of those HMRC documents. Thanks Zhonor for your repl...

I submitted mine after the form changed and my NCS agent said it was fine. But I would suggest calling them to double check.

Re: NCS appointment gone TOO well?

My NCS appointment was quick and painless too ... Only submitted a few documents so a very thin pile compared to what was required to obtain my PR. Thanks to this forum, I quickly ask for the tracking number as she was already giving my receipt without any tracking details on it. Hopefully all goes ...

Re: Renewing Passport while BC in progress

Hello all, My passport is expiring soon and I was wondering if I renew my foreign passport; do I need to send the new foreign passport in for my BC application (that was already submitted back in Feb 2017)? I have done this in 2014-2015 and didn't had any problem. I hope this isn't a problem in you...

Re: Changes in Feb 2017 AN form(for naturalisation)?

Thanks Casa ... I'll ring them up on Monday Hey did you eventually ring HO to find out if using the old form is an issue? I also sumbmitted the old form but NCS said it was fine. Yep, NCS said it was fine to submit old forms until they get notification from HO that old forms cannot be used anymore.

I did my biometrics last year for my PR and again for naturalisation.

You should get a letter requesting you to do biometrics again. Your NCS is wrong.

Re: Changes in Feb 2017 AN form(for naturalisation)?

I just checked the latest form and it was out Feb 16th ...

I've submitted my application on the 22nd Feb via NCS and was using the Jan 2016 form... will I be in trouble? Is there anything I could do? Should I submit a new form?

Re: 12 months PR status eligibility criteria

In my opinion, apply for SAR to double check the dates that HO has got on records for you.

I did that and applied base on PR acquisition date instead of issue date. My NCS agent even had a look at my SAR just to make sure I qualify and confirmed it in the additional column of my AN form.
