Loan and Credit Card

Hi, I know that similar question has been asked in the past. I am going to apply for ILR. My earning is much higher than the requirement. Due to personal reasons and also improving my credit rate, i've used credit cards and received loans from my bank. So far, I have not had any late payments and ev...

Re: Absence Letter Sample

Thank you. I meant by new, the guidance after 2010 as the template on the sticky area was posted in 2010. I know well that I can get a letter confirming that I were absent from XXXX to XXX as annual leave or for work/duty purposes. My main concern is about the weekend absences as guidance asked for ...

Re: Absence Letter Sample

I searched the form and especially sticky section. Sticky section is not updated and the relevant post is for 2010. The new guidance asks for something that was not required before, for example absences during the weekends. It would be appreciated if any of the successful applicants leave their lett...

Re: ILR Success at PEO Croydon 21/11/14 - contractor self em

Congratulations! And your post is very helpful and comprehensive. About the P60, as the other users said (hsr1972) employment in the last 5 years is not a requirement for Tier 1 Generals. CW can ask anything but they have to stick to the rules. If an applicant (like me) was not in employment for a p...

Re: ILR in person application - Croydon or Solihull

some points should be considered in this discussion: 1-number of appointments is significantly higher in Croydon (i guess there are about 250 slots per day in Croydon whereas 250 per week in Solihull) so it is more probable that you hear more about problematic cases in Croydon 2-most of the skilled ...

Re: expired IELTS for english test in ILR

I asked the same question with no response. I am going to apply for ILR based on Tier 1 G and I am going to use the IELTS that used in my initial application.

Vinny said that it may be acceptable. You mean it may not be accepted? The rules are clear but the guidance is not at all.

Dependants of ILR holder

Hi, I am going to apply for ILR shortly. My spouse has a Tier 1 G dependent valid until Aug 2016 and he cannot apply for ILR at the same time as me. He becomes eligible in June 2019. I know that he should apply for PBS dependent even after I get my ILR. My question is that after I get my ILR (say in...

ILR English Requirement

Dear All, I am going to apply for ILR shortly and I am on Tier 1 General. I am still confused about English Language requirement. UKVI guidance on SELT is not consistent with Appendix KoLL of the rules. In the rules it is clearly stated that if you used an English test in previous application and it...

Re: Your visa application @ Abu Dhabi (Ref:1234567)

Hi

Anyone knows to which email address, Administrative Reviews should be sent? My friend applied in Abu Dhabi and he does not have any clue about that. He sent an email to the old email address visa.abudhabi@fco.gov.uk but it seems that this mailbox is no longer monitored.

Re: ILR Interview

Yeah I am in similar situation. Their guidance is too vague and unclear and the fact that they apply a rules to the dates before the rules is wired. The good news is that they have not closed Appeal for ILR and Tier 1 applications yet.

Re: ILR Interview

i read it carefully, I know that they have interviewed the applicants but the fact that they made a new section in the rules specifically for ILR application and insisted on the interview does not seem very nice. Usually these changes come with more hassle and restrictions. The same thing happened f...

Re: ILR Application HELP Required - Absence Evidence and Oth

About the payment it is not an issue, they have not updated the forms, you just bring it with yourself and they will wont charge you again. just print and bring the payment receipt which you will receive at the time of appointment booking. Again about previous absences there are many ambiguities. as...

ILR Absences

Dear All, I am going to apply for ILR in Feb 2015. As you all know, the continues residency requirement is very vague and unclear for Tier 1 migrants. Below is my scenario: Entered the UK in Feb 2010 and found a part time job (no paid annual leave) Left the UK in May 2010 and returned in July 2010 (...
